The DFHV stands as Germany's voice for the fresh produce trade, bringing together companies across the board - from local market sellers to major importers and retailers. Born in 2000 from the union of two long-standing industry groups (the ZVF and the Hanseatic Association), it builds on more than 75 years of advocating for the fruit trade.
At its core, the DFHV works to create better business conditions for produce traders, both in Germany and across Europe. They tackle everything from quality standards and consumer safety to pushing forward sustainability initiatives and maintaining social standards. Their 'Fresh Seminar' program keeps industry professionals up-to-date with the latest developments in produce marketing.
